Introductions / Hello ... again
« on: December 30, 2012, 02:51:24 AM »
Since it has been so long since I last dropped by, it seemed only polite to formally re-introduce myself.   :)

And while I'm at it, a slightly early Happy New Year to all.   /party

Looking forward to getting re-acquainted with some and meeting others...

General Discussion / Favourite songs
« on: February 15, 2012, 02:27:08 AM »
What are your all time favourite (love) songs in certain categories?   /seren

You may respond to any or all, but please indicate which question you are answering.  ;D

1. The best “educational” song – a song that expresses your idea of the perfect lover or perfect romance.  (Yes, I know there is no such thing as perfect, but please play along.)

2.  Best relationship song – meaning a song that reminds you of your best relationship.

3. Worst relationship song – opposite of the above.

4.  Best love song of all time – happy or sad, just the one that tugs your hearts strings.

**********

Okay, here are mine:

1. Slow Hand by The Pointer Sisters.  (There is absolutely nothing in the world as sexy as a man who knows how and where to touch a woman...)

*****

2.  These remind me of “Mr Thought He Was Perfect” in the 1990’s.

Sex on Fire by Kings of Leon.  (When I was young and stupid enough to do it, I loved to *ahem* distract the driver...)

With or Without You by U2.  (It was a tumultuous relationship.)

#1 Crush by Garbage.  (What can I say?  I am a scary woman when I’m in love...)

*****

3.  These remind me of “Mr 2010”.

Rolling in the Deep by Adele.  (Self-explanatory.)

White Flag by Dido.  (Also self-explanatory.)

Cry Me a River by Diana Krall.  (Okay, I’m in a deep enough hole so I’ll stop digging now.)

*****

4.  It’s a cliché, but still my favourite love song of all time.

Nights in White Satin by The Moody Blues.

Newbies / Access to private / hidden sections

Dear admin / mod team,

How do newbies gain access to private sections of the board, please?

I've posted at least ten long posts, now. (And I seem to be on good terms with everyone.)

Thanks in advance,

Tasha.  ;D

Introductions / Greetings
« on: February 07, 2012, 11:21:19 PM »
Greetings.

I found CdM through a link on a gentleman’s site.  You seem like an interesting and open-minded group of people, and this appears to be a place where honesty is accepted and appreciated, so I decided to join.

I had planned to post an extensive intro, but at the last moment decided to maintain some mystery – at least for the time being – so the following is the abbreviated version...

Where to begin?  I’m in my late 40’s, and I’m a professional writer – quite famous in very limited circles, and very protective of my reputation.  Even so, for a hobby, I write erotic short-stories (shared only with very close friends).  The plan is to eventually finish my debut novel-trilogy and make enough money to enable me to give up the job that currently pays most of the bills.

The idea of finding a professional companion only occurred to me recently, after a disastrous foray on an internet dating site.  (Whatever happened to good manners, or at least simple respect for others?)  The thought of spending a nice day and/or night with pleasant company – and no nasty surprises – is very appealing.  The main setback regarding the companion I’ve exchanged a couple of emails with is that I live on the west coast [Australia] and he lives on the east coast – so it could be a while before we meet.

For now my biggest problem is that I crave male company so much I fear my new boss is going to fire me for being overly friendly.  (I don’t sexually harass him – however, I do go out of my way to chat with him.)

Looking forward to chatting with you all.

Tasha.
