Hi CdM Community!!  /orgy

My birthday celebration is in the works.  Plan is in October but within a month of my REAL birthday so I'm still in the good.   /clap2

I am starting in Las Vegas to see Brittany Spears.  I'm staying in a condo at the end of the strip this time instead of a hotel.  I'll have to let you know how that works for Us.

The next leg is a drive to Palm Springs.  Again, staying in a condo.

I'll pass on more info as I get farther into the planning.

Note -  I miss the notifications here something fierce.

In a matter of days of each other and so much of my history.

George Michael, Ricky Harris, and Carrie Fisher.

I'm was blessed to see George Michael in concert, Carrie Fisher as a speaker one evening.

Who else will miss the actor who brought us Javon "J. W." Willis?

I, for one, can not wait for 2016 to END!!

Then head over to see this -

February or beginning of March is the best time in the City.

Art and Entertainment / Prince is Gone
« on: April 21, 2016, 03:13:05 PM »
RIP Prince...   /pray

The man and artist I grew up with.   I thought David Bowie gone was bad, but this is devastating.  :(

Yeah, oh
I gave my love, I gave my life, I gave my body and mind
We were inseparable, I guess I gave you all of my time
And now you plead insanity and you don't even know the score
Why can't you learn to play the game?
Baby, don't you know that you need more? (more, more, more)

You need another lover like you need a hole in yo head (baby, baby)
You know there ain't no other
That can do the duty in your bed, yeah

We were brothers and sisters
United all for love
Now all of the sudden (all of the sudden)
You try to fight it (try to fight it)
You say you've had enough (say you've had enough)
Even though we had big fun (even though we had big fun)
You want another someone (you want another someone)
Yo happily ever after be (Sure as there's a sun)
Sure as there's a sun, (I'm gonna be the one)
I'm gonna be the one and if (you don't understand)
You don't understand face to face, (face to face)
Baby I'll tell you down on my knee, yeah

You need another lover like you need a hole in yo head (baby, baby)
You know there ain't no other
That can do the duty in your bed
Solo, solo

(Sing it)

Oh Lord, oh yeah, yeah ha

You need another lover
You know there ain't no other
You need another lover like you need a hole in yo head
Hole in yo head
Hole in yo head
You need another lover like you need a hole, a hole, a hole, a hole
You need another lover
You know there ain't no other

There's gonna be a riot, if you don't clap your hands,
If you don't make that funky stand, everybody
You know there ain't no other

Art and Entertainment / Oscar 2016
« on: February 29, 2016, 03:13:23 PM »
A lot of viewers said the Oscars were boring.  Maybe it dragged in places but Lady Gaga's high note in Till It Happens to You sent chills up my spine and tears to my eyes.  Personally, as an advocate for social justice this was the best Oscar to come along in a very long time.  I remember Marlon Brando"'s The Godfather win -
Personal perspective; This years Oscars was more in line to their roots then one would think.

Rock's Most memorable lines for me -
“No black nominees. People are like, ‘Chris you should boycott, Chris you should quit.’ How come it’s only unemployed people that tell you to quit something? … I thought about quitting. I thought about it really hard. But I realized they’re gonna have the Oscars anyway. They’re not gonna cancel the Oscars because I quit. And the last thing I need is to to lose another job to Kevin Hart, okay?”

– “Everybody went mad [this year] … Jada [Pinkett Smith] got mad. Jada said she’s not coming. Isn’t she on a TV show? Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties. I wasn’t invited.”

This is the one line that summed up what ALL American's want...
– “It’s not about boycotting anything, we want opportunity."

Art and Entertainment / Super Bowl 50

I don't think the weather could be anymore perfect for Super Bowl 50.
The crowds are more orange then blue.

My heart says, Manning and his experience. Go Bronco's!  /cheerleader

Anyone else watching today with a party?

Abe Vigoda made it to 94.  He looked 80 when in Barney Miller as Fish.  Another part of my history is gone, along with Bowie.

General Discussion / The Killing

Has anyone binged on "The Killing" on Netflix?  I think it is up there with True Detective.

Linden has guts and Holder has loyalty and her trust.  Amazing duo. Had me sucked in from the First Season.   /cheerleader

I love in Season 4 when Linden goes for the Morning After Pill and accuses the Pharmacist getting off on dealing with the issue.

News, Current Events, and World Affairs / Heather Saul
« on: September 09, 2015, 08:48:06 AM »
Headline labels her "Heroic Hooker".  Does it really matter?  Why write the headline so?
Did they have to out her so publicly?  Why not say "Heroic Woman"?

Heather is currently unable to work and not entitled to disability benefits.
When is the U.S. going to look at sex work as work?  Obviously Heather has not been "trafficked".

News, Current Events, and World Affairs / Magic Mike XXL
« on: August 06, 2015, 03:50:52 PM »
I went with my sister and probably a few hundred other ladies. We had so much fun!

When Michael Strahan came on the screen and geez what a body!! He has a dance scene that had all of us Ladies in the theater screaming with the women on screen!  There was a lot of camaraderie between the women unknown, known, on screen, and in the theater.  Laughter and fun.

The movie does not have much of a story but it is better than the first Magic Mike. It does not play to the Chippendale crowd so much as the private exotic dancers who show up in your home or at a club in Vegas.

Jada Pinkett Smith was fabulous in her part.  Loved it when she says, "Queens, don't you sometimes just want a man to give you what you want when you want it?"  The theater erupted with agreement with us all responding.

Ladies, this is the dvd you want on your shelf at home.  Next time you have a get together, a party or just a gagfest, a little wine and then you say, "Hey, let's put on Magic Mike XXL."  Everyone who has seen it cheers and laughs. You load it up and pretty soon the music starts...   /party
