Was it, Smith?

Today, I am busting my butt running between both of my jobs.  Why is it when you want to leave for a week, the week before your working yourself into the ground?  I already know, I will be doing the same thing on the week I return, too.  What is with that anyway?

The other thing I have on my mind is how alone I feel today.  No one is in the offices of either company I work at.  Quiet, quiet, quiet.  Driving between the two, which is 27 miles and thinking why don't I have someone to chat with while I do the drive?  Then, what would I say?

"My life is like the Giant Dipper in Santa Cruz. The lows and even the screams remind me of heading into some days looking for the light at the end of the tunnel.  The heights are what I make for myself to live life to its fullest with all its turns and dips. Even the click-click sound of the cable comes in occasionally (analogy of people yapping). {Pause}  Hey, why did you call?"

How are there no chimichangas on the menu at this theater?

That's funny...I was also at the theater today and thought, "I can't believe they serve edamame here!"

"Listen to the rhythm of the falling rain
Telling me just what a fool I've been..."

That's always the song that goes through my head when it's raining...

Does anyone know how fast April 16th is going to get here?

I feel like the little kid in the back seat, peeking over and asking, "Are we there yet?"

I am spending time with Smith.  I have left everything in his hands for the day.

Not happy about the stranger who decided to shout at and physically threaten both me and an elderly relative, yesterday. Not the first time we've been shouted at...unfortunately, not the first time we've been threatened...but this time it just really made me angry. Probably even more so because I realized my default was, "meh, sometimes that happens."  No, things like that are not supposed to happen and it is not ok.

There's a 50% chance the man in question was mentally ill but a 100% chance that he wished to inflict violence on women. Hopefully, the police were able to catch up to him before he actually did hurt someone. Well, really, I hope the police actually went looking for him, but that's a whole other issue...

That sounds awful, NoG. I'm glad that you and your relative are all right.

Tea,
This sounds terrible.  You went to the police? Or did they show up for you?

Put a complete pall on a day as well.  I'm so sorry for the both of you.

Thank you, Quinn and NoG.

A witness called the police and told us the police were going to look into it.
