Another film I thought of that has to deal with hiring male companions is The Wedding Date starring Debra Messing and Delmot Mulroney. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with it. Even though I liked both Messing and Mulroney as actors, the story felt contrived and unrealistic. It has its moments, but the ending made me roll my eyes. I thought, "Yeah, RIGHT." I have seen better romantic comedies than this. But I thought I'd start a topic about it since I think it is great that more films and TV shows are dealing more with the subject. If any of you have seen it, I would say don't waste your time, but it is a good example of what NOT to do when telling a story LOL.

Here's the trailer:

I remember watching this on a patron's portable DVD player together in bed. Yes it was very 'chicky flicky'. I preferred what we were 'watching' on PayTV on a previous date  ;D.
