I guess this is a matter of "It depends on a lot of things" put I'll ask my question anyway: after how much time (on average) can a newbie expect to have his first... how do we call it? Rendez-vous? Date? Contract? Hiring? Meeting?

Not that I'm that impatient, I'm willing to take all the time necessary, I just want to know after how long I should start worrying.

There are so many factors to consider that it really does depend on a lot of things. Part of it is luck: are you in a city where a lady is looking and you hit it off? Could happen quickly. Or it can take months and months.

A lady friend of mine said that for lady escorts it typically takes 12 months to have consistent regulars and 24 months to have a established identity. My take has always been that for male companions that time is probably longer.

Bottom line I guess is that breaking into this endeavor can require a lot of patience and staying with it.

So I guess I'll be established when I'll hit 40.

Is there a lady interested in celebrating these two events with me ? I'm taking registrations right now.

I agree, Well said Alex.

I would also add to use the Pareto Principle (aka 80/20 Rule) to make the odds work in your favor. Also be prepared for the opportunity when it avails itself.

I love the concept of getting to know companions before you begin to meet with them. Is this a totally new idea? I've never seen it before and I think it's a very classy way of allowing both the ladies and the companions to feel more at ease with each other when they finally meet.

Bravo--or brava!

Ayo, I'm not sure if this is a totally new idea, but it's the way for ladies and gentlemen in this community to interact.

Alex got it completely right !  Be patient and try to advertise as much as you can if you don't already have few regulars. It takes time and determination to have the privilege of spending quality time with special ladies !!!

There are a myriad of factors that effect whether or not you are getting consistent bookings.  The key really is patience, however, I am not the best example of this as I established a prominent identity and began getting work within 6 months of declaring myself in the industry.  My case is far the anomaly though.  My best advice would be to keep putting yourself out there and interacting with as many people in the industry as you can.  The more you make a good impression on people in the industry, the more people will share your name and information.  Next thing you know, you'll get a client through a referral.  This is how I started and I took off from there.
