Ever heard of the Six Word Memoir? It's coming up with a six-word phrase that could be used as your memoir (alternatively, as the epitaph on your tombstone). An example from Stephen Colbert: "Well I thought it was funny." Another example I usually see on Halloween decorations: a tombstone reading, "I told you I was sick."

What would be your six word memoir? Please contribute as many as you would like.

Because I said so, that's why.

Strangers. Friends. Best friends. Lovers. Strangers.

You locked the back door, too, right?

But we can still be friends.

Forget it, I changed my mind.

"It's no big deal," I lied.

"I'm so sorry, sweetheart, love you."

Afraid no one will miss me

He's complicated, we're complicated, it's complicated.

I'm sorta crazy, but not insane.

"She didn't do herself any favors"

"Did I say that out loud?"

She came, she saw, she cried.

He died with his boots on.

She didn't take it with her.
