It's great to hear from you Kat.

I'm sorry to hear about your challenges. You definitely have a lot on your plate. I know that it is hard to see it when you are faced with life challenges but no matter how intense it becomes once things reach their lowest the only direction that it can go is up.

Regarding the dating, given your wittiness and great sense of humor, you probably already have a billion gazillion guys vying for your attention .  /LOL

Warm wishes.

I believe you are one the bravest and your kids will lookup to you for the idealism and fortitude. I will always remember your quote : "Be kind to your mother."

Best of Luck !

What's on my mind is practicing mindfulness every day & to remember to take care of myself during these tumultuous times.
I have incorporated the following:
     Personal trainer once a week.
I go off the grid one day of the weekend.
I have found a wonderful male masseur in The City who truly takes care of all my kinks.

Let us hope and pray I keep my sanity and energy for what will be needed to keep up the Resistance.

Rain and lots, lots, and lots of water.   /cheerleader

I have not seen it like this since I was in my late teens.  Plus, even though we would have flooding in the spring as I was growing up it would be caused by the snow melt, not rain.

We are seeing our dams holding to capacity.  Also, we are seeing how our levy system is doing. When Arnold was governor we had a breach in the delta. So we spent money to fix some of them. People are currently walking them every day looking for any sign of them not holding.

Rivers are rising and most of our reservoirs up here in NorCal are almost full.  I have no idea how things stand in SoCal. Does anyone have news?

I'm trying to only drive during daylight.  Flash flood waters have caught a few unawares, northbound 880 (East Bay towards Oakland) and I don't want to get caught.  Rain continuing to Thursday, starting again Saturday.   Not to worry, no one has started building an ark.  :D

It took me 90 min from 880/237 junction to mission blvd around 5:30 tonight. I think we have enough water now :D
