Can anyone tell me if it is really true that hotel concierges at top hotels, say in London or elsewhere, will happily procure the services of an escort for a hotel guest ?

After watching an entertaining UK TV drama show called Hotel Babylon it seems that all the male guest has to do is ask for an 'extra pillow' and he will get an automatic choice of blonde, brunette or redhead.

So the question is, is this really true and if so does it only apply to male hotel guests ?

What would a concierge do if a female guest asked for an extra pillow ? Would she get a choice of male companionship or would it be just down, synthetic or foam ?

Absolutely Pixie, you can't call yourself a top concierge unless you can secure the services of an Escort and purchase Class A drugs for your guest.

I'm in accord with Cole on both points.  My experience though - Concierge has given me a wonderful dinner companion referral.
The next time I asked at the Concierge desk, I asked if we could speak somewhere more private, his office perhaps.  That was an easier conversation.  I have also spoken with the Bell Captain on one visit, he was able to give me references on the agencies I was considering.

Concierge's are my favorites in my world of travel.  Plus, if you tip them appropriately when you check out, they remember when you return.  Almost like your neighbor at home.  It is always nice to see a friendly face.

Pixie

I have to say and if you were here I would tip you as you have just opened the door for more marketing for me as a male companion who is moving into becoming one of the top ones in the UK!!

I will be going round the top hotels in London and when I travel abroad I'll do the same.  Going to the concierge and drop my details and card for future reference, one hand wash the other as they say, every booking he or she gets me he will be getting a very good commision.

Thanks Pixie  /clap  /xo
