So I'm curious: should a companion include his specific location on his website?  I've seen different approaches and I'm interested in what everyone, ladies and gentleman, think.

Part of my question comes from the fact that I recently received my first email from a potential client, but she seems to be leaning towards a companion closer to her area.  Naturally I'm eager to meet my first client, so I'd hate to have geography get in the way!  Would it be wiser to provide a more general location, like the East Coast? Or does the city and state matter? I love to travel, so it's simply not an issue for me, but it does affect costs and spontaneity I suppose?

Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
Many thanks,
Luke

Speaking from only my own experience in starting to look into companions, I would MUCH rather try and see someone closer to me than have to travel really long distances IF it is possible because yes, costs/finances are an issue. So for me, location is something I definitely take into account and hope to find available on a site, and general like "East Coast" is ok because that still gives me an idea of how far I have to travel.

Put your location on your website. One of the common complaints from clients is deducing where you're located or using vague location language.

If she really wants to see you, than no place on earth will be a barrier to seeing you  ;).

I do think you do need to include a location on your website.  Yes, it will be a deterrent for some potential Patrons, as traveling to see a Companion, or having him fly to visit you, obviously does increase the cost of the date.  It comes back to the adage about a person not being able to "be all things, to all people".  You will have some potential Patrons that are so into seeing you and you only that your distance won't be the slightest barrier for them.  For others, it will be an impediment and at least if you declare your location upfront, she is free to search for a Companion closer to her hometown.

I find it nice to plan my recreational time to tie with a location amenable to my companion.  This would be for travel reimbursement considerations.  My weigh in is, yes.  State your location.

Sometimes having a stated location hardly matters; the number of times I get (called - not emailed) and the caller has not bothered to read the city. It's a hint that I should move I suppose.  :D

But yes, Luke, tell ;em where you are. You don't want someone to get all worked up and then find there's 100s or 1000s of miles between you. The city and country should do no need for specifics. In fact make sure it's info that can be found easily when googled. e.g. Axelpump, Wyoming Male Escort etc. ;)

Nognog,

I've missed it too.

Anyway, can't move anywhere just yet. But no way I'd move to Auckland (shudder). Back to sear old London in a trice if I had the option and the zillions necessary. But there we are. Or not.

If I want to see someone, I'll figure out how to get there. However, I don't want to waste his time or mine by trying to figure out where he is so I know my starting point.

I want to see a location on a website.  In part because as I travel, I might note down the city in case I find myself there. In part, because if it's somewhere I can go easily, I'll start planning.  And if it's somewhere really awkward for me to get to, I can start plotting on how to accomplish it.

Thanks Lauren, that definitely makes sense to me, I suppose I just didn't want to close off any possibilities, especially since I love to travel myself, so am more than happy to be the one on the road.  I suppose I should just emphasize that and be clear about where I am!  And you're right, of course, sometimes the plotting is part of the fun...

Was I specific enough on my site, just out of curiosity?
