Forgive me for being naive, but why wouldnt you have business cards on hand? Why not leave cards with the concierge at spiffy hotels nearby? Why not ask to be included in a bridal shop registry? Every time a bridesmaid complains she hasnt a date, viola! Call 1 800 Stud Muffin. I wouldnt put a phone number, just a web address. But thats just me.

Whats the difference between having a website and having business cards, except business card are mobile. Well, with smart phones I suppose one could argue that websites are mobile. However, I cant pull a website out of my purse and peek at it every time I use my debit card.

I think there are many avenues where business cards could be a favorable marketing tool. This tool might require more effort to deploy, yet it may well be worth the investment.

Ok - I just ran across yet another thread on the same topic. It appears that the idea of business cards have been bandied about quite a bit. I think it's time to cross-index the forum!  :p

Call 1 800 Stud Muffin.

How did you know of my previous pseudonym?

I had some business cards made up but a glaring typo had me advertising 1800 SpudMuffin and while I did not get any companion business from these cards, I did get a few orders for Potato Cupcakes. /ROTFL
